But even without skis or a snowboard, the Nebelhorn mountain offers unique mountain experiences in both summer and winter. Take the Nebelhornbahn cable car from Oberstdorf up to the top and use the Seealpe station or the mountain station as a starting point for exploring the surrounding nature.
Year-round mountain fun for all ages is offered by the following experiences:
- In winter, take the Nebelhornbahn cable car to the Seealpe station and then whizz down the valley as often as you like!
- In summer, take the whole family on a holiday in the Allgäu - and while hiking in the Allgäu, discover the child-friendly adventure trails "Uff d’r Alp" at the Seealpe or the "Höfatsweg" at the Höfatsblick station.

Nebelhornbahn: at lofty heights for over 90 years - New era since 2021
On a mild summer day on June 10, 1930, the Nebelhornbahn celebrated its maiden voyage and was dubbed the longest passenger cable car in the world. To this day, no other cable car in the Allgäu region reaches such heights as the Nebelhornbahn. Since 2021, a new era has been in full swing at the Nebelhorn, as a new 10-passenger cable car now transports mountaineering enthusiasts to the heights.

On the culinary side, the Nebelhorn 2224 summit restaurant offers a wide range of options on two levels. No matter what you choose, the view of 400 peaks is always the icing on the cake.
The Nebelhornbahn cable car also takes you directly to the Nebelhorn Marktrestaurant at the Höfatsblick mountain station. There, too, you'll find fresh and varied cuisine. Little tip: Cappuccino outdoors with a view of the surrounding mountains.
