• Nebelhorn: Upon reaching the Höfatsblick station, the whole family can enjoy the fresh mountain air and picturesque views. A barrier-free panoramic hiking trail then leads to the panoramic viewpoint. On the way back, a playground offers entertainment for slightly older children, and there are also refreshment stops.

From the middle station, the route initially descends to the lake and then continues straight to the alpine pasture. The return route is straight ahead, followed by a steep, but brief, uphill climb. For sporty parents, a road leads down from the alpine pasture.

• Our tip:: On a cheese dairy tour, you'll learn fascinating facts about mountain cheese. The mountain cheese from Alpe Schlappold, with its aromas of alpine flowers and herbs, has already won several awards.

• Söllereck: From the mountain station of the Söllereckbahn cable car, a hiking trail leads towards Riezlern. Parents and babies can also hike this short and relatively flat climb. Once you reach the Schrattenwangalpe, you can enjoy the view with a hearty snack before everyone heads back. The descent to the village of Riezlern is manageable for active parents, but we recommend returning the same way, despite the somewhat longer walk.

• Heuberg: From the Heuberg mountain station, you can start the hike with a stroller on the Path towards Sonna-Alp at the Zaferna lift. The long version is also suitable for tours with strollers, but we recommend returning after Zaferna. On this child-friendly hiking trail, the whole family can enjoy a stunning backdrop, while the best Kaiserschmarrn in the entire region awaits you at the Alpe inn.

• Walmendingerhorn: Strollers can also be easily taken on the Walmendingerhornbahn. From the mountain station, you'll reach a glass panoramic viewing platform, which is easily accessible with a stroller. Afterwards, it's worth visiting the sheltered relaxation area with lounge chairs, where everyone can enjoy the view far across the Allgäu and Kleinwalsertal valleys.

• Ifen: The Hiking Trail from the Ifen Hut to the Valley Station leads along the forest road and is suitable for hiking with strollers in the Allgäu region. The shady coolness of the mountain forest is particularly beneficial for families in midsummer. The dense tree cover offers views of the Kleinwalsertal valley from occasional clearings, as you slowly walk toward the Auen Hut and its delicious home-cooked meals. Since the hiking trail climbs approximately 300 meters, we recommend going from top to bottom.

• Since not all hiking trails are paved, you may have to hike with the stroller over bumpy or very soft ground. A suitable stroller that's also suitable for off-road use is therefore a must.
• A maneuverable buggy with large, lightweight rubber tires and good suspension is ideal. If the baby is too small for the buggy, a stroller will also work. However, it should meet the same requirements as the buggy.
• Alternatively, you can of course also strap babies and toddlers to your back in slings or carry the children in backpacks.
