Whether it's a one-day school ski day or a multi-day school ski week, Germany's largest two-country ski region, OBERSTDORF · KLEINWALSERTAL, offers winter fun on 130 kilometers of slopes of all difficulty levels.
Beginners' area, ski rentals, and child-friendly slopes provide the perfect start to the school ski week.

Experience the 10-person cable car at Söllereck and set off from here into the Allgäu mountains.
The panoramic trail to Riezlern or the hiking trail to Freibergsee, for example, guarantee stunning views. From Freibergsee, you return to the valley station of the Söllereck cable car.
After the hike, a visit to the Allgäu Coaster is a great option.

Söllereckbahn Uphill Ride & Sölli Wooden Ball for the wooden ball run.
The Söllereckbahn offers another highlight at the ERLEBNISREICHEN in Oberstdorf with its XXL ball run, Sölli's Ball Race.
The wooden ball run is over 200 meters long and divided into four sections with exciting elements. Right next to the climbing forest, the wooden balls start their journey along curved tracks, ball slaloms, funnels, and cowbells. The wooden balls make their way downhill in an exciting way. This makes the hike from the mountain station to the valley station an entertaining experience for young and old! Duration approx. 1 hour. The Sölli wooden ball is a popular souvenir and a great memento to take home.
Playgrounds along the way: Mountain station with the Sölli Ball Express and the Pisten Bully directly at the Allgäu Coaster.
Tip: Followed by a visit to the Allgäu Coaster.

Uphill and downhill ride & climbing forest & 1 ride on the Allgäu Coaster. After the uphill ride on the Söllereckbahn cable car, Germany's highest forest ropes course awaits you right next to the
mountain station, with 8 courses and 70 climbing elements.
After a detailed safety briefing from our certified instructors, you can freely choose your activities independently and safely. The Söllereck climbing forest is equipped with the SMART BELAY SYSTEM. This system prevents accidental disengagement and is used on all courses.
Afterward, you can comfortably take the cable car down to the Allgäu Coaster. Here, a thrilling ride on the year-round toboggan run on rails awaits you.
Tip: We recommend our special Adventure Ticket offer. The climbing forest can also be booked without the Allgäu Coaster combination.

Fast-paced tobogganing fun with our summer toboggan run on rails.
One of the most beautiful year-round toboggan runs in the Allgäu region stretches over 850 meters along a winding track with built-in jumps and bumps. Using brakes, everyone can control their own speed on the Allgäu Coaster. It's entirely up to you.
In rainy weather, a Plexiglas protective cover will keep you dry.

Using Fellhorn as an example, participants will experience how people, nature, and technology can be harmoniously integrated. Both summer and winter measures will be demonstrated. The excursion will cover, among other topics: environmentally friendly, visitor-guided trail concepts, ecological construction in alpine regions, GNSS-guided, mechanical snowmaking, a sustainable energy concept, landscape-based alpine farming, protected areas for fauna and flora, and behavioral measures in alpine regions. During the excursion, historical, geological, and geographical aspects of the Allgäu region will also be discussed.

On this exciting, age-appropriate excursion, participants will experience the beauty of the Allgäu mountains with their floral splendor and native wildlife, using the Fellhorn as an example. They will learn about some alpine flowers and animals, among other things, and discover the strategies plants and animals must develop to become true survivalists. Necessary protective measures and rules of conduct that must be strictly observed in the Alpine region to protect themselves and nature will also be demonstrated.

After gaining a comprehensive impression of the high mountains on the panoramic terrace and the north face of the Nebelhornbahn cable car, the participants will learn, through practical examples, on the subsequent excursion which strategies animals and plants must develop to adapt to alpine living conditions and thus become true survivalists.
For this reason, consideration and protective measures are essential and will also be addressed.

An absolute highlight of the Allgäu's highest mountain railway is the panoramic view of 400 peaks, which gives the Nebelhorn a true high-mountain feeling. On the subsequent excursion, participants learn how ecological viability, economic efficiency, and social justice can be reconciled under the aspect of sustainability, both in winter and summer. Key topics include energy management, ecological construction, regionality, alpine farming, avalanche safety, and protective measures for flora and fauna. Climate change and its significance for the mountains, as well as historical, geological, and geographical aspects, will also be addressed.

Bus parking spaces at the valley stations of the Nebelhorn, Fellhorn, Söllereck, Kanzelwand, and Walmendingerhorn cable cars are available free of charge only upon prior registration.
