Skiing in the Allgäu: Mountains & ski areas around Oberstdorf
On the German side, the Nebelhorn, Fellhorn/Kanzelwand, and Söllereck mountains await winter sports enthusiasts and hikers: The Nebelhornbahn cable car takes professionals quickly and comfortably to the Höfatsblick mountain station at the Nebelhorn summit, while families and beginners can practice their turns on the Söllereck. Sustainable skiing in the Oberstdorf Kleinwalsertal ski region
Ideal conditions attract winter sports enthusiasts and skiers to the southern Allgäu region: The Oberstdorf Kleinwalsertal Bergbahnen ski region is easily accessible from Germany and offers a well-thought-out winter holiday package. Families in particular appreciate the region's excellent value for money – whether for Ski passes in Oberstdorf or for Ski rental and ski school, for accommodation or meals.
For us, skiing in the Allgäu also means sustainable enjoyment.
Unlimited skiing fun in the Allgäu and Vorarlberg respects certain borders – and we don't mean the one between Germany and Austria: Even if winter sports enthusiasts feel at home in the natural surroundings of our mountains during the ski season, they are actually guests in the habitat of numerous animal species. These species need their safe refuges. Information boards, posters, and informative brochures indicate where the ski area ends. This serves to protect flora and fauna, as well as the safety of skiers. With the "MyMountainNature" program, we are setting an example of our responsibility toward people and nature.
Through the southern Allgäu to Kleinwalsertal: our ski resorts in Austria
The Kanzelwand, Walmendingerhorn, Ifen, and Heuberg mountains are located in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg, but the ski resorts in Kleinwalsertal can only be reached from the Allgäu region due to the valley's unique geographical location. Well-groomed ski slopes, such as the 4.4-kilometer-long Kanzelwand valley run, and the highest level of lift comfort characterize the Kleinwalsertal ski resorts.

A special highlight for skiing families is the Söllereck in the Allgäu: Söllis Winterwelt" makes it easier for even the youngest skiers to get started with skiing with three magic carpets.
