Tips for beginner skiers: Here's how to do it right!
You're standing at the foot of the mountain, the sun glistening on fresh powder snow, and today you're taking your first turns on skis. Sounds exciting? It is! With the right approach, your introduction to skiing will be an unforgettable experience:
- Book a ski school: Experienced ski instructors in Oberstdorf and Kleinwalsertal will playfully teach you the basics. Children learn in Burmi's and Sölli's Winter Worlds with magic carpets and colorful figures on gentle practice slopes.
- Rent ski equipment: Ski schools usually also rent out all the necessary equipment. This way, you can first get a feel for skiing and discover which type of equipment suits you before investing in skis, helmet, and other gear.
- Your path to your first run: Start on the magic carpet, practice the snowplow on gentle slopes, and then progress to the wide blue runs on the Heuberg or Söllereck.
Save with the beginner ski pass: Get a great start with the beginner's pass for the practice lifts in Kleinwalsertal or with the ski pass for Söllereck only.
