The highlight for all flower lovers: Start your short hike with the cable car ride. The short and easy alpine flower trail leads to the summit cross of the Walmendinger Horn from the sun terrace of the Walmendingerhornbahn cable car. On the way up to the summit, you can admire the vast floral landscapes with their impressive diversity. Once you reach the summit, you will be rewarded with one of the most beautiful summit views in Kleinwalsertal: The view extends towards the Allgäu and the Hohen Ifen, as well as towards Kleinwalsertal and the Widderstein. After descending to the mountain station, you can continue your summit enjoyment in the Gipfelstuba (summit hut) and on its sun terrace.

A hike for the senses: This tour also starts at the Walmendingerhorn cable car mountain station and leads past fragrant alpine flowers. You'll hike across sunny pastures and lush alpine meadows, surrounded by impressive mountain panoramas, along the well-maintained, sometimes steep alpine path to the Sennalpe (sennalpe) at an altitude of 1,760 meters. This is the perfect opportunity to stock up on homemade Walser mountain cheese from our own farm and other Allgäu specialties. After a break at the upper Lüchlealp, you'll be well-rested before climbing back up to the mountain station.

A challenging hike that rewards you with stunning panoramic views of the upper Kleinwalsertal valley and the Widderstein mountain at the end of the valley. Once you reach the mountain station, you can enjoy the impressive panorama and the alpine atmosphere at the summit and on the viewing platform. You return to the valley via flowery mountain meadows. On the descent, the Stulzalpe and the Bühlalpe inn invite you to stop for a rest and a cozy break before reaching the valley station.
Adventure seekers prefer trail 2 and trails 2+3, which, after a strenuous hike, are rewarded with the impressive view from the summit cross of the Walmendingerhorn. For an easy and relaxing stroll amidst impressive floral landscapes, trail 1 is the perfect route. The mountain station invites every hiker to relax and enjoy nature and stop for a bite to eat at the upper Lüchlealp before heading back down to the valley via numerous hiking trails. The mountain of the senses offers the right route for every fitness level and constitution – even hikes with dogs are possible here.
