- The summit station of the Walmendingerhorn cable car is the starting point from which leisurely skiers make their turns on perfectly groomed slopes, and hikers set off on numerous mountain tours in the summer.
- The early bird catches the worm: With a sunrise ride and a rich breakfast buffet, you'll have a much better start to your day. This special start to the day takes place every Wednesday on selected dates during the summer season.

Summer tip for nature lovers: From the mountain station on the Walmendingerhorn, the Alpine Flower Trail begins. On the route to the summit cross, hikers pass more than 130 plant and flower families. Short, descriptive texts impart new knowledge about Alpine flora. At the destination, the summit of the Walmendingerhorn, you will be rewarded with a breathtaking panorama overlooking the Schwarzwassertal nature reserve and the majestic Ifen plateau. Here you can admire it from a completely unusual perspective – namely from the back.
