48 modern lifts and cable cars transport visitors to the slopes daily in the ski areas of Kleinwalsertal and around Oberstdorf. The first ascent is at 8:30 a.m. The last ascents and descents of the day take place between 3:30 and 5:00 p.m., depending on the lift.

How do you get to the ski resort on the border of Germany and Austria?

By car, visitors from Germany can travel toll-free via the A7 and B19 motorways. Parking is available at the valley stations of the cable cars – some for electric cars and buses. Travel to Oberstdorf and Kleinwalsertal is also possible by bus and train. With the Oberstdorf ski ticket, you can travel to the ski area by train at a low cost.
