The family ski run on the Fellhorn, built in 2018, was not rebuilt, but widened and flattened in an environmentally friendly manner. The construction of the reservoir on the Ifen created a green oasis.
Firs, spruces, and ferns – the green natural landscape is famous for its plant diversity. To ensure the region continues to flourish and shine in all its splendor for generations to come, the mountain railways are actively committed to preserving forests and meadows through their reforestation projects.
Footfall damage caused by hikers negatively impacts nature and the landscape. All remaining plants and grass turf in the affected areas are carefully removed and secured.
