Your tasks and skills
Proactiveness is especially important on the cable cars, because with all the tasks at hand, there's rarely time for detailed instructions. This is no problem for you, as you're not afraid to take matters into your own hands and are quick and reliable. As a cable car employee, you primarily handle daily operations, keep the station tidy, and assist guests boarding and disembarking. What many people don't know: Thanks to your basic technical understanding, you also carry out repairs in the event of technical problems. You also support the operators in their daily tasks or regular inspections – we follow the two-person principle. Is everything in perfect working order? As soon as there are irregularities with the machines, cable cars, ropes, or supports, solution-oriented thinking is required. Nevertheless, close coordination within the team is essential, as there are always tasks that require more than two hands.
To start working for us as a cable car employee, you don't need any experience in this field. As long as you're not afraid of heights and can ski, we also welcome career changers, newcomers, and high school graduates.
We work differently. We work with responsibility.
It goes without saying: The safety of guests and your colleagues determines your workday. You always keep an eye on the machines, without losing sight of the many people. It's demanding and often requires a cool head, but ultimately, you'll keep operations running – and experience unique moments in nature in the middle of the wonderful two-country region.
Don't let us down, become part of the OBERSTDORF · KLEINWALSERTAL BERGBAHNEN team. Apply now for one of our advertised positions or submit an unsolicited application.
