Your tasks and skills
As a machinist, you bring a high degree of initiative. With all the tasks that need to be done before and during operation, there's rarely time for detailed instructions. What few people know: By operating the cable car and performing maintenance, overhauls, and repairs on the machines, you ensure smooth operations every day. You also organize the relocation of the cable clamps, keep the station tidy, and maintain the operations log. Is everything in perfect working order? Whenever irregularities occur, solution-oriented thinking is required. Whether it's a noisy signaling system, a fault in the track safety circuit, or a defective display device – thanks to your professional experience, you know what to do when technical problems arise. Nevertheless, close coordination within the team is required, as there are always tasks that require more than two hands.
Since this is a very demanding profession, you must have completed vocational training (ideally as a machinist) and have three years of professional experience in the field of electronics.
