Your tasks and skills
Calmness and initiative are essential when working on cable cars and drag lifts. Regardless of the weather, you are responsible for their operation, maintenance, and repair. A responsible role awaits you here, as guests and your colleagues rely on you. We will teach you the necessary basic technical understanding of the entire system so that you can react quickly and safely to mechanical issues. No two days on the mountain are the same; you may find yourself working at dizzying heights. It goes without saying that you will conscientiously follow safety regulations. But there's more to it than that: In your daily tasks, you will learn everything you need to know about complying with environmental regulations to work sustainably on the mountain, and you will become familiar with the relevant norms and quality standards. Working directly on the cable cars and lifts also means being in close contact with guests. No problem for you! Thanks to your communicative nature, you're happy to share information about the special experiences to be discovered on the mountain and offer a tip or two. If you enjoy your 3.5 years with us and would like to further develop your technical skills, you can extend your training to become an electrical engineer for a six-month period. Otherwise, we look forward to welcoming you back to the team as a cable car technician even beyond your training period.
