Attention!!
Due to the weather forecast for Saturday, September 9th, the benefit concert with the German Armed Forces Band will take place at 6:00 PM at the Fiskina in Fischen.
Their "weapons" are the trumpet, the flugelhorn, and the trombone. As musical ambassadors, they are known far beyond the country's borders – the approximately 60 musicians of the German Armed Forces Band. On Saturday, September 9th, the professional musicians will perform on the Nebelhorn in Oberstdorf. The benefit concert begins at 11:30 AM with a celebratory mountain service at the Höfatsblick station, followed by further samples of their wide-ranging repertoire. Admission is free. Donations will benefit the Allgäu Mountain Rescue Service and the Oberallgäu District Fire Brigade Association. The band has been delighting audiences at home and abroad for decades. In case of rain, the concert will take place at the Fiskina in Fischen; in this case, the service will be cancelled.
"Welcome Autumn" is the motto on Sunday, September 10th, at the Kanzelwand in Kleinwalsertal. At the 12th Autumn Folk Music Festival, music and singing groups, as well as alphorn players, will offer a melodious journey through folk music. The festival begins at 11:30 a.m. with a mountain service at the Kanzelwand mountain station. Afterwards, all groups will take turns playing a hearty brunch. In case of bad weather, the event will take place in the Panorama Restaurant. Admission is free.
