"POWDERALAAAAAAAAAAAAAARM!" The new OBERSTDORF · KLEINWALSERTAL BERGBAHNEN app greets registered users with a push notification in this style when Mother Nature shakes out their beds. This feature guarantees that deep-snow fans will never again miss those moments when they can carve their turns in the freshly fallen powder. A digital piste map also provides information about the current location via the OK Bergbahnen app for Android and iOS and serves as a guide. In the evening, a quick glance at the linked MyMountainClub is enough to review the slopes and elevation gains, as well as the lifts used. These new, digital offerings – Piste Fun 2.0 – are just a few of the highlights that the ski season in Oberstdorf/Kleinwalsertal has to offer in the 2017/18 season.
MyMountainClub for exclusive benefits
Since the beginning of October, mountain enthusiasts have been connected to the mountain railways all year round with MyMountainClub. Upon registration, personal interests are stored in the user account. Members regularly receive personalized offers based on these interests. Individual newsletters inform about highlights and events, for example, for gourmets, action fans, or families. A new ski ticket rounds out the free, accessible package: the MyMountainCard-Flex ensures flexibility and time savings.
Once ordered online and linked to a credit card, the ski pass begins directly at the turnstile, without any detours or waiting at the ticket office. The amount for the ski pass is then debited to the cardholder's account, saving time and hassle. For an additional €25 (regular price: €40), you can also get a dedicated parking card, valid throughout the season and in all mountain railway parking lots. These are exclusively for winter sports enthusiasts, ensuring that your car is in good hands while you're on the slopes.
New digital brand world: www.ok-bergbahnen.com
Starting tomorrow, December 1st, the new website www.ok-bergbahnen.com
will not only visually reflect the new brand identity, but will also combine the visual upgrade with new functionality: Even more clearly presented information, even more intuitive operation, and even more of a virtual mountain experience for the user are the focus. The overall structure of the new website will therefore break new ground. Away from the large, all-encompassing display of everything, towards a target group-oriented page design that allows users to navigate quickly and easily. The interaction of the individual components is also a priority, explains CEO Dr. Andreas Gapp: "The functions of the new website and app, as well as the MyMountainClub, interact sensibly to ensure that our guests receive real added value from the digital services."
