zum Login/RegistrierungThe first cameras for automatic vehicle counting were installed at the first valley stations in the 2019/20 winter season, in collaboration with one of our partners, Hectronic. The test phase of a parking space counting technology began at Nebelhorn, Ifen, and Kanzelwand. This technology records the current occupancy level, informing guests upon arrival which spaces are still available and where they can park. Gradually, more mountains and systems were added, so that all OK Bergbahnen parking lots now have a current parking status. The status information is displayed both at some parking lots in the form of digital signs and online via our "Live Status": /skigebiete/status-anlagen-pisten-wege/ In addition, live occupancy figures are displayed at Nebelhorn, Fellhorn, Kanzelwand, Walmendingerhorn, and Ifen, so guests can see at any time when a parking space is occupied. All remaining parking spaces are (still) manually operated by our colleagues on site, so you're always up to date. The aim of the guidance system is to inform guests about the current free and occupied parking spaces in a timely manner, thereby avoiding unnecessary traffic, noise pollution, and detours. MyMountainClub members can therefore activate a parking alarm via the OK Bergbahnen app, which triggers a push notification as soon as a parking space is occupied. This allows hikers and skiers to switch to free parking spaces in good time and save themselves the hassle of searching and waiting on site.

- In the future, we want to not only display the current actual data, e.g., at what point is parking space x occupied, but also implement a forecast status. This will enable us to make predictions in the future about which days a parking space will be occupied at what time with a probability of x%.
