1961	The Olympialift is built as the Auenhütte hotel lift.
1962	The Ifen Bus – the bus line from Riezlern to the Schwarzwassertal valley is established by Alfons Herz. The Auenhütte was only accessible via a narrow gravel road.
1969	Rupert Etschmann founds the Hahnenköpfle Schwebebahn Etschmann & CoKG
1971+1972	The "Ifenhütte" double chairlift and the "Ifen" drag lift are built.
1972	The Ifen lifts open in December.
1973	Alfons Herz takes over management of the lifts. The Ifen Bus is incorporated into the lift company.
1976	The forest road from the Auenhütte to the Ifenhütte is built. In winter, an easy downhill run leads from the middle station down to the valley. The Gaisbühl practice lift is constructed at the Ifen valley station.
1977	International FIS giant slalom races for men and women take place on February 19 and 20. In 1976, terrain adjustments were made to the Ifoly downhill run to obtain FIS certification.
1978	The Hahnenköpflebahn is built, with operations permitted only during the winter season.
1981	Ifen-Lift Alfons Herz KG becomes the majority owner of Heuberg-Schöntal-Lift GmbH.
1984	The Hirschegg-Heuberg chairlift is rebuilt.
1988	On March 13, an avalanche with a ruptured slope on the Ifen at an altitude of 1,800 meters causes massive damage to the valley station 500 meters below, causing no casualties. As a result, the avalanche structures at the foot of the Ifen are created.
1991	The "Ifenhütte" double chairlift is fundamentally modernized.
1992	Reconstruction of the Hahnenköpflebahn
1994	The administration building is rebuilt, and garages for buses and snow removal are created.
1995	Construction of a wastewater treatment plant at the Hahnenköpflebahn mountain station
1996	The winter hiking trail on the Gottesacker plateau is presented to the public for the first time.
1997	After almost 20 years, the Hahnenköpflebahn receives a new haulage cable.
1999	Submission of an overall concept for the modernization of the Ifen cable cars with summer operation of the second section.
2001	Official approval for the construction of the monocable gondola lift in two sections. The restriction of the second section to winter remains in place. The investment in infrastructure (catering) is therefore not cost-effective and will not be implemented for the time being. Slope correction measures for the Gottesacker glide path and the Olympic slope.
2003	The Auenalpe drainage project for flood protection is implemented and proves its worth during the August 2005 floods.
2006	The lifts in the Heuberg area – the Hirschegg-Heuberg chairlift and the Schöntal and Heubergmulde drag lifts – are sold to Heuberg Skiliftbetrieb GmbH&Co. The Ifen day ticket network continues to exist and is being expanded to include the Parsenn and Hubertus valley lifts. The Schäfalp-Gamsrücken piste connection to the Gottesackergleitweg glide path is being expanded.
2007	After the snow-poor winter of 2006/07, a snowmaking system is being planned and submitted for approval. The process is underway.
2009	On July 1, Kleinwalsertaler Bergbahn AG takes over Ifen-Bergbahn GmbH.
