As a cable car operator, you bring a high degree of initiative. With all the tasks before and during operation, there's rarely time for detailed instructions. What few people realize is that by operating the cable car and performing maintenance, overhauls, and repairs on the machinery, you ensure smooth operation every day. This includes organizing the repositioning of the cable clamps, keeping the station tidy, and maintaining the operating log. Is everything in perfect working order? As soon as irregularities occur, solution-oriented thinking is required. Whether it's a noisy signal system, a fault in the track safety circuit, or a defective display unit – thanks to your professional experience, you know what to do when technical problems arise. Nevertheless, close coordination within the team is essential, as there are always tasks that require more than two hands. Even if you're changing careers, your strong technical understanding is welcome.
