Once you arrive at the Nebelhornbahn mountain station by cable car, you'll surely spend some time enjoying the beautiful view and the fresh mountain air. After a brief acclimatization, you'll now follow the accessible trail No. 1. Here, in good wind conditions, you can watch paragliders and hang-gliders taking their scenic flights over Oberstdorf.
Accessible to the Destination
Wheelchair users can also enjoy our mountain world on this well-maintained trail. The trail is also ideal for a vacation with a baby. After a few accessible meters, we quickly reach our destination.
The viewing point, just outside the cable car station, is located on a small hill above the upper Faltenbach Valley. If bad weather doesn't prevent the view, the magnificent panorama stretches from the Allgäu main ridge deep in the southern Allgäu Alps, across the valley view to Oberstdorf, to the Wengenköpfe peaks high above the Hindelang via ferrata. Holiday moments that will stay with us for a long time even at home!
Back to the playground!
After a pleasant break, we return to the cable car mountain station via the same route. If you're on holiday with a small child, a varied playground near the cable car station invites you to play. You're sure to have already discovered it upon arrival at the Höfatsblick station. The market restaurant in the station, which is wheelchair accessible, looks forward to welcoming you for a relaxing stop inside or on the sun terrace.
The panoramic trail on the Nebelhorn starting at the Höfatsblick station was evaluated by a certified surveyor and awarded the certificate "Accessibility tested: partially accessible for people with walking disabilities" by the testing center.
