Additional service for our guests
Here you will find information and advice about parking in the coming days,
when we expect good visitor numbers thanks to the excellent weather forecast.
Did you know?
Since mid-December, you can now reach us directly from Munich, Memmingen, or Kempten with FlixBus. There are even stops right at all the ski areas in Kleinwalsertal.
If you choose to drive your own car
It's best to check the parking situation at our lifts in advance to secure one of the available parking spaces.
Is the Ifen parking lot full? No problem – we have another option for you:
Use the Walmendingerhornbahn parking lot and take advantage of our free IFEN shuttle.
You can find the current parking availability at any time on Parken-OK.
Additional service for our guests
Relaxed skiing thanks to free ski shuttle
If the parking spaces at the Ifen are already full...
As an alternative and additional parking option, we offer a free ski shuttle between the Walmendingerhorn cable car valley station and the Ifen cable car from December 27, 2025 to January 4, 2026:
The shuttle runs daily from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM during this period.
*The shuttle departs directly from the parking lot at the Walmendingerhorn cable car.
*In the afternoon, the return trip must be arranged using the regular public buses.
3. What you need to know - Outbound journey in the morning towards the Ifen
*You will receive an information flyer from our colleagues, which also serves as your return ticket. Please keep this information flyer safe – only this entitles you to the free return trip. Normally, the buses are not free.
- * You can also find all relevant, up-to-date information via the QR code on the flyer. This is important in case we need to adjust the organization during operation.
- Important: the QR code is not a free ticket for all buses in Kleinwalsertal throughout the day.
- The free Ifen Christmas shuttle takes you directly to the Ifen valley station without any intermediate stops.
3. What you need to know - the return journey in the afternoon
Option 1 - You're still feeling energetic and fancy a few more meters of skiing
- Then take the "regular" Ifen shuttle at the Ifen cable car to the turnaround at the Parsenn mountain station - not line 5 towards Riezlern.
- From the Parsenn mountain station, a ski slope leads to the Heubergarena valley station. So, you'll need to put your skis on and take them off again.
- From the Heubergarena valley station, you'll board the bus again. The bus stop is located directly on the street at Hirschegg village square – you'll see it as soon as you leave the building.
- Two bus lines stop at the Heuberg Arena. Take the bus to "Mittelberg Ort".
The line to Bodmen/Baad does not stop at this stop.
- From the "Mittelberg Ort" bus turnaround, it's just a few meters to the parking lot at the Walmendingerhorn cable car.
Option 2 - Your ski day is over and you'd prefer to use buses for the return trip
- At Ifen, take bus line 5 towards Riezlern.
- The easiest way to change buses is at the Kanzelwandbahn stop, as you only need to cross the street once.
- Several bus lines operate at Kanzelwand, so pay attention when choosing your bus. Take the bus that stops at "Mittelberg Ort." The line to Bodmen/Baad does not stop at this station.
- From the "Mittelberg Ort" bus turnaround, it's just a few meters to the parking lot at the Walmendingerhorn cable car.
Does it all sound a bit complicated?
We can't organize it any more directly on short notice. But it's better than no parking at all, right?
