Oberstdorf/Kleinwalsertal, April 25, 2024 – The mountain experience is for everyone – and to make this possible, the German cable car companies launched the Action Day on May 5th. Guests with a disability of 60% or more, as registered on their ID card, will be transported up the mountain and back down to the valley free of charge on this day. The ride for a companion listed on their ID card is also free.
The Oberstdorf Kleinwalsertal cable cars have been living this motto for years: Almost all cable cars are barrier-free. In addition to the ride to the summit, there are other barrier-free options such as the North Face Trail or the panoramic platform on the Walmendingerhorn. Guests can take advantage of the Action Day offerings at the Söllereck and the Walmendingerhorn. In addition to barrier-free hiking trails, there is of course also the opportunity to indulge in culinary delights.
