As one of the largest employers in the region, OBERSTDORF · KLEINWALSERTAL BERGBAHNEN offers a wide range of training and development opportunities in electrical engineering, technology, and administration. Five young cable car and electrical engineers at OBERSTDORF · KLEINWALSERTAL BERGBAHNEN can now look forward to successfully completing their training as operations managers.
Room for personal and professional development
"The cable car industry offers a modern and diverse working environment. I'm particularly excited about the interplay between technology and tourism, which impresses with its innovation and its many opportunities for development," explains Johannes Krieg, Dipl.-Ing., CEO of OBERSTDORF · KLEINWALSERTAL BERGBAHNEN. The company is therefore continually pleased to offer its employees diverse professional development opportunities and support them along the way. Five employees, Steve Wenzel, Maximilian Schubert, David Reinmuth, Luis Schneider, and Marco Sonnenberg, seized the opportunity and completed their part-time training as operations managers at the local cable car company. Their results were excellent, as their successfully completed diplomas demonstrate. "Once again, five of our technical cable car employees were able to complete their operations manager training with excellent results. This naturally fills us with great pride. We are happy to offer training or further education within our company to people who want to develop further. For me, it's all about partnership," reports Dr. Andreas Gapp, CEO of OBERSTDORF · KLEINWALSERTAL BERGBAHNEN.
Excellently trained
By successfully passing the operations manager examination, the graduates have demonstrated that they can ensure the safe and proper operation of the cable car. However, they are then directly responsible for the management and supervision of the cable car operation, acting as the deputy operations manager in the absence of the operations manager.
"The friendly environment, the varied and challenging tasks, the cross-border work opportunities and the wonderful scenery in which we work make our job at OBERSTDORF · KLEINWALSERTAL BERGBAHNEN something very special. Here, you are supported and challenged at the same time. We are all the more pleased to be able to take on even more responsibility and actively shape the operational processes after completing our operations manager training," report David Reinmuth and Maximilian Schubert, who are now both deputy operations managers at the Kanzelwandbahn.
