The board members and managers of OBERSTDORF · KLEINWALSERTAL BERGBAHNEN used a dinner at the end of May to thank many employees, some of whom have been with the company for over 25 years, for their dedication and contribution to shaping the two-country region.
Kleinwalsertal, June 9, 2023 – A total of 17 long-serving employees and two retirees were honored for their valuable, multi-year service at OBERSTDORF · KLEINWALSERTAL BERGBAHNEN: "The tireless commitment to our company, some of which has spanned decades, cannot be taken for granted. We express our sincere gratitude for their loyalty and perseverance, as well as their great passion for our mountains," said Dr. Andreas Gapp, CEO of the mountain railway association, during a shared meal at the aparthotel in Kleinwalsertal.
35 years old and not a bit tired
Georg Freinbichler is the longest-serving member of staff – he has been fully committed to the success of the mountain railways for 35 years now. The celebrant was delighted with the recognition and enjoyed the invitation with five other colleagues who have also worked for the various companies of the 2-Länder-Bergbahnen for more than 30 years. Three other colleagues have been with the OBERSTDORF · KLEINWALSERTAL BERGBAHNEN for over 25 years, four more for over 20 years, and all others for at least 20 years. Two of those present were given a ceremonial retirement.
We do things differently
"These service anniversaries and the associated appreciation of our employees are particularly important to us. Because we know how valuable they are to us and how much they look forward to these honors every year," say Henrik Volpert and Ing. Johannes Krieg, both board members of OK-Bergbahnen, proudly. The employees' years of loyalty also demonstrates that the motto "We do things differently" is lived at OBERSTDORF · KLEINWALSERTAL BERGBAHNEN.
