At Ifen, the early bird catches the worm, because from March 1st, the skiing fun for early risers begins as early as 7:45 a.m.!
Kleinwalsertal, February 20, 2023 | Getting up early is definitely worth it! Certainly at least at Ifen in Kleinwalsertal. Starting March 1st, the "Early Bird" beckons again: well-rested skiers will be rewarded with the finest firn snow and spring-like temperatures until the end of the season on April 16th. Starting as early as 7:45 a.m., the Olympiabahn cable car takes its guests up to the top, where the best piste conditions are found in the early morning hours.
Take the Olympiabahn cable car to the sun
Those who want to hit the "first line" on the untouched slopes will have to set their alarm a little earlier during the Early Bird ski days. The crystal-clear mountain air of the Ifen and the grippy slopes also ensure a special kind of snow fun! The morning sun bathes the Olympia and Schäfalp downhill runs in a golden, dreamy panorama, making the still-unskied slopes shine and sparkle. After the first few turns in the snow, the next stop is the Tafel & Zunder mountain restaurant. From 9:15 a.m., a delicious cappuccino or homemade "Fit & Vital" muesli awaits you on the sun terrace. After the first outdoor experience, breakfast tastes twice as good and fortifies you for the next adventure in the two-country region of Oberstdorf/Kleinwalsertal. So get on your skis and head off to the slopes!
