Dogs are welcome
Dogs have always been welcome at the OBERSTDORF · KLEINWALSERTAL BERGBAHNEN (mountain railways) and should continue to enjoy services alongside their owners. To ensure that the cable cars can continue to offer services such as free dog poop bags and dog toilets free of charge, dog owners will pay a small fee of €5 starting in the 2019 summer season. The clue: The day ticket is valid seven days a week for exploring the two-country region with animal assistance.
Small contribution, big service
In the Oberstdorf/Kleinwalsertal hiking area, dog toilets are available for our four-legged guests, among other things. "We want to continue offering our dog services conveniently and free of charge. With the moderate daily ticket price for four-legged friends, dogs will be able to travel for seven days with just one ticket," explains Henrik Volpert, CEO of Oberstdorfer Bergbahn AG. The €5 dog day pass is valid for seven days on all seven mountains. "Dogs receive a mountain railway tag as a ticket and identification feature, which is checked during the cable car ride," adds Dr. Andreas Gapp, CEO of Kleinwalsertaler Bergbahn AG. In addition to the day pass, the OBERSTDORF · KLEINWALSERTAL BERGBAHNEN will also be offering a season pass for four-legged friends, available for €15.
