Germany's premier blues and jazz festival enters its sixth round on Friday, July 21st. Once again featuring a global star. This time it's Pete York, who rose to fame in 1965 with the Spencer Davis Group and their number one hit "Keep on Running," and who will be performing this evening at Seeweg's Bluesfest on the Nebelhorn high above Oberstdorf. Genre boundaries have never existed for Pete York; he is equally at home in rock 'n' roll, New Orleans funk, big band swing, and blues. Joined by Nina Michelle, Christoph Steinbach, and Stephan Holstein in the "Drum Boogie Quartet," he offers an exciting mix on this unusual evening on an extraordinary concert stage. No Bluesfest is complete without Seeweg's Bluesband, performing boogie, jazz, rock, rhythm and blues. Ascent from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., start at 7 p.m., Höfatsblick station. In case of bad weather, the concert will take place in the Panorama Restaurant (limited number of participants). Tickets (€29 without, €39 with ascent and descent) are valid for this evening. The cable car ticket and citizen card are valid for this evening.
