A feast for the ears to kick things off! The mountain summer begins immediately with a musical highlight on the Nebelhorn. Kicking off the summer events on Sunday, May 28th, the Montanara Choir "Cortina d'Ampezzo" will perform on the Nebelhorn. They will accompany a solemn Catholic mountain mass at the Höfatsblick station at 11:30 a.m. And, as every year, the "Song of the Mountains" will resound particularly impressively amidst the unique world of the Allgäu Alps. After the service, the singers will present further samples of their talent in a concert. The Nebelhorn cable car takes visitors safely and comfortably into the world of the mountains. The market restaurant at the Höfatsblick station will provide refreshments. The concert will take place on the large sun terrace in good weather, and in the panorama restaurant in case of rain. Admission is free.
The Söllereck offers mountain hut magic with live music and an Allgäu buffet the evening before, May 27th. The Söllereckbahn cable car takes you to the Schönblick mountain hut until 5 p.m. Guests will receive a welcome drink, an Allgäu Büble beer or a Büble shandy. Starting at 6 p.m., an Allgäu buffet will tempt you, followed by a rockin' mountain experience with atmospheric live music. The tour concludes with a night hike to the valley station (approx. 35 minutes). Price includes the cable car ride, beer, buffet, and much more: €45. Reservations can be made by calling 08322/4030. The event will take place regardless of the weather!
