Anyone looking to head high this coming weekend will find the perfect opportunity in Oberstdorf and Kleinwalsertal. The cable cars on the Fellhorn and Kanzelwand will begin their summer operations on Saturday, May 13th. Starting at 9 a.m., the journey back up will be the first opportunity for hikers and walkers to kick off the hiking season. On the Fellhorn, the path from the middle station via Schlappoldsee and Kanzelwandhaus to the valley station of the Fellhorn cable car is accessible. The mountain restaurants and sun terraces will also be open. The cable cars on the Söllereck and Walmendingerhorn will also be running at full speed. The Nebelhorn cable car will start its summer season a week later, on May 20th.
