The skiers have barely finished their season when the hikers are already lacing up their boots.
In Oberstdorf and Kleinwalsertal, they already have plenty of opportunities. For example, at the
Söllereck, where the hiking trails are perfectly accessible and the Söllereckbahn cable car begins operating on Saturday,
May 6th. It operates daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and takes mountain lovers of all ages to the top. The AllgäuCoaster offers a rapid descent, and a visit to the open climbing forest also promises pure adrenaline.
Saturday also sees the start of summer operations at the Walmendingerhorn, when the cable car begins its daily operation at 9 a.m. The path to the summit is already accessible with good footwear, but other paths at higher altitudes are not yet accessible. The
"Gipfelstuba" restaurant is open. The large sun terrace invites you to relax.
