With a spontaneous campaign, the Oberstdorf/Kleinwalsertal ski region hopes to sweeten the first day of Christmas for those Augsburg residents who have had to leave their homes due to the defusing of the aerial bomb. "We cordially invite all evacuees to spend a day of skiing with us in the Allgäu and Kleinwalsertal on December 25th," explained cable car boss Augustin Kröll on Friday. Upon presentation of their ID card, every Augsburg resident will receive a day ski pass on Sunday, December 25th, 2016, at a special price of 30 euros for adults (11 euros for children and 20 euros for young people). Visitors can expect fantastic piste conditions on the Fellhorn/Kanzelwand, Nebelhorn, Ifen, Heuberg, and Söllereck. The combined ski region currently offers 37 kilometers of great slopes and 24 open lifts. The valley runs on the Kanzelwand, on the Fellhorn up to the Höfle station, on the Ifen, and on the Söllereck are very well-maintained. The cable cars on the Walmendingerhorn and Heuberg are open to pedestrians and hikers.
