After leaving the peak cable car, you can reach the tunnel leading to the Nordwandsteig by passing the terrace and the newly built restaurant.
Thanks to the impressive steel construction that was attached to the Nebelhorn northern wall, the whole peak area can be circled on a 100m long walkway which is even accessible with a wheelchair.
From here, you can overlook the whole Allgäu and if you dare to look down, you can gaze into the 600m deep gorge underneath the northern wall of the Nebelhorn.
