The summer is back in the Oberstdorf/Kleinwalsertal mountains and along with it a blooming hiking paradise and the perfect outdoor photo studio: red alpine roses, yellow gentians, the smell of fresh alpine meadows and the view on the surrounding mountains. Adler7 takes active people and families to the seven most beautiful nature sceneries in the two-country area.
From the Nebelhorn to the Ifen, exciting views into the distance as well as into the depth are waiting to be discovered. Once you enter the mountain cable car, your mountain adventure begins. The most panoramic spots for the perfect picture are only a few steps away. You can find them between the blooming alpine roses or on the border between Germany and Austria, fairytale-like on 1.932m above sealevel, with endless panorama, in Africa or with a calming view into the distance - once you´ve seen them all, you can truly say "I made it my territory!"
The Nebelhorn mountain cable car takes you to 1.932m above sealevel at the ´Höfatsblick´ station. Right at the adjacent panoramic walkway, the perfect scenery for your first photo opens up in front of you. You can see the Allgäu main ridge in the far south, the view down on Oberstdorf right in front of you and the ´Wegenköpfe´ at the via ferrata ´Hindelang´ behind you. A fairtale-like photo setting, which is even accessible with a wheelchair.
The Söllereck is the family mountain on the German side of the two-country area. Here, the hiking trails are also accessible with a baby carriage and offer endless hiking fun. With a view on Oberstdorf and to the Nebelhorn, the photo point close to the high ropes course offers the perfect setting for your amazing hiking photo.
At the Fellhorn, the majestic eagle takes you to the next photo stop. In July, alpine roses, bellflowers and gentians blossom at the flower mountain. More than 120 different types of flowers and plants find the perfect fertile soil to thrive and prosper at the Fellhorn. Right below the peak station, hikers can find a unique outdoor photo studio in between the lush floridity.
Walking on the border between Germany and Austria is easily possible at the Kanzelwand. About 400m from the top station of the gondola, the next Adler7 photo stop is waiting for you. Active hikers follow the path along the border to the peak of the Kanzelwand and take their perfect picture for the hiking album up there.
In the heart of the Kleinwalsertal, guests hike high above the rooftops of Austria. With a view on Hirschegg and Riezlern, the heart of mountain lovers skips a beat. From the top station of the Heuberg chairlift, the hiking path nr. 1 takes you in the direction to Zaferna/Mittelberg. After around 300m please turn right and after a few steps, an amazing view on the Ifen opens up. The calm and quiet surroundings at this photo stop are not only perfect to take a picture, but also for a little rest before the hiking adventure continues.
The Walmendingerhorn is also host to a photo stop with breathtaking views. Hiking in Africa is not only a slogan here, but a promise. Thousands of years ago, Africa met the Eurasian continent, unfolded a mountain range and formed the present-day Walmendingerhorn. Right below the top station of the mountain cable car, the next photo stop is waiting for you - of course on the African plate.
Unfold your wings and glide over to the Ifen. Hikers can actively unwind on 1.586m above sealevel and enjoy a sensational view over to the Allgäuer Alps. Close to the mid-station of the Ifen gondola will find the next photo stop with a view on impressive mountains: the Allgäu main ridge and the distinctive Ifen wall will make the heart of every hiker skip a beat. Cliffy stone and cold rock meet the warming sunlight and form a symbiotic relationship.
