This little getaway will be even easier from December 2025, at least for Munich and the surrounding area. With FlixBus, you can travel affordably and comfortably directly to the slopes at the Oberstdorf Kleinwalsertal mountain lifts.
Starting December 18, 2025, FlixBus will transport skiers and all other mountain enthusiasts to the mountains and back twice daily. Perfect for a day trip or weekend getaway from Munich, Memmingen, or Kempten.
With the new direct connection from Munich, your relaxing day on the slopes can also be booked completely online and spontaneously:
- Add your ski or snowboard equipment as special baggage via the FlixBus app.
- And thanks to free Wi-Fi on the bus and the Oberstdorf Kleinwalsertal mountain lifts' online shop, you can head straight to the slopes with a quick stop at the pickup machine.

Why do we claim it's never been easier to spontaneously spend a day or a weekend in the mountains?
- Arrival directly at the mountain lifts - the stops in Riezlern, Hirschegg & Mittelberg are located directly at our valley stations:
** Kanzelwand with connection to the Fellhorn "over the mountain"
** Heuberg Arena with access to the Ifen thanks to a free shuttle bus
** Walmendingerhorn
* Time for après-ski - the return journey starts at 6:10 pm. This allows you to linger a little longer after your day on the slopes at the Kanzelwand umbrella bar.
- Out in the morning - back in the evening - the FlixBus runs daily from/to Munich Central Bus Station with stops in Kempten, Memmingen Central Bus Station, and Memmingen Airport.
