Shred the Park! Fun park & freestyle sessions at Fellhorn & Kanzelwand
Besides the diverse slopes, there's plenty more to discover in the largest ski area of the Oberstdorf Kleinwalsertal mountain lifts. The Crystal Peak Park on the Fellhorn, below the Schlappoldsee station, is perfect for getting started with park riding, featuring an easy to intermediate kicker line and obstacles like butter boxes. Here, aspiring snowboarders and extreme skiers can try their first jumps or perfect new tricks.
For those who prefer a more relaxed experience, the approximately 840-meter-long Crystal Slope on the Fellhorn is ideal. This funslope, with its rollers, banked turns, tunnel, and snow spiral, allows beginners and families to gain their first park experience at their own pace.
For advanced riders and pros, the Crystal Ground at the foot of the Kanzelwandbahn lift is the place to be: With its creative, jib-heavy setups, which even change monthly, pro rails, large kickers, and other obstacles, the park has made a name for itself far beyond the Alps. A popular meeting place has sprung up right near the center of Riezlern. The place really comes alive when the modern floodlights transform Crystal Ground into a nighttime playground on Wednesday evenings.

The Fellhorn-Kanzelwand ski area can be reached toll-free via the A7 and B19 and has two access points: The Fellhorn cable car is located 7 km south of Oberstdorf, and the Kanzelwand cable car is located in Riezlern in the Kleinwalsertal valley. Ample parking is available at both valley stations.
By Public Transport
Even without your own car, you can reach the Fellhorn and Kanzelwand ski area conveniently and quickly. Various local bus lines operate within the ski area, making ski area hopping a pleasure.
**By Train* Oberstdorf is easily accessible by train from all directions. From Oberstdorf train station, take bus line 7 to the Fellhorn cable car and bus line 1 to the Kanzelwand cable car in Riezlern.
- Long-distance bus: The new Flixbus connection takes you comfortably and without transfers from Munich via Memmingen, Kempten, and Oberstdorf directly to Riezlern, to the Kanzelwand valley station.
- Getting around: Use the local public buses free of charge with the Allgäu-Walser-Pass, the Oberstdorf & Kleinwalsertal Citizen's Card, or the Oberstdorf/Kleinwalsertal Mobility Card. The shuttle bus line 5, which connects the Kanzelwand valley station with the Ifen ski area, is free for everyone.
